Caramel Brandy Sauce
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon Treacle (or golden syrup)
1 Tablespoon plain flour
1 1/4 cups milk
Method:
Melt butter, remove from heat. Mix in flour, then syrup or treacle.
Return to heat.
Add milk all at once, stirring until thick.
Serve warm.
Add 1 Tablespoon of brandy just before serving, if desired.
