Flower Glue

Tylopur comes in a powdered form, is edible, and commonly used in cake decorating as an adhesive. It dries slowly but firmly, which enables you to "work" your flowers into a natural position, confident that they will "set" that way owing to the use of tylopur.
Any brand or make is okay - so long as you use the powdered form to make up the following:
1/2 teaspoon of Tylopur powder
25ml of water
Put mixture in a small jar and shake well. It will take on a lumpy consistency for a while, like lumpy jelly. Shake the jar often over the next 24 hours, and the tylopur will be completely absorbed.
When ready to use, it will take on a thick syrupy texture. If the mixture is too thick, add a few drops of water as required.
I have a small dedicated paintbrush that I use for sugar flower construction, which I highly recommend.
The mixture will keep indefinitely, and will not sour.
