Pineapple Tart 2

Ingredients:



1 sweet pastry shell

1 grated pineapple

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 teaspoon butter

1 egg (separated)

2 dessertspoons cornflour

1 teaspoon sugar

vanilla

Method:

Place 1 grated pineapple, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon butter in saucepan to boil.

Once boiling, add 1 egg yolk well beaten with cornflour or a little more if needed.

Pour into pie crust.

Beat the white of egg with 1 teaspoon sugar and a little vanilla to a stiff froth.

Spread over top and brown in oven.
